A clearer path, together
How Tutorcat works
Three simple steps for families, and the rules every review follows before it appears on a profile.
A clearer path, together
Your next step starts here.
01
Find your person
Explore subjects, study destinations and experience. Shortlist the people who feel right.
02
Have a conversation
Request an introduction. Share your goals, ask your questions, and bring a parent along.
03
Move forward with clarity
Build subject confidence or map out your university pathway, one focused session at a time.
Good to know
- You agree lesson times and fees directly with the tutor or counselor. Tutorcat doesn’t take payments for lessons.
- Browsing profiles and preparing an introduction request costs families nothing.
- Parents are welcome to join any conversation, especially for younger students.
How reviews work
A review appears on a profile, and counts towards its rating, only when all four of these are true:
- It comes from a student or parent who had a session with that tutor or counselor.
- The tutor or counselor has confirmed that the session took place.
- The Tutorcat team has checked and approved it.
- The reviewer gave permission to show it publicly.
Where a profile says “Rating shown from Tutorcat records”, the rating comes from Tutorcat’s own records, not from individual public reviews.
